Common Questions

    • Can veledo be installed in humid environments such as bathrooms?

      No, we don’t recommend veledo for damp areas because it is reinforced with hardboard backing, which can absorb water and swell. Spilled liquids should be quickly removed and accumulating moisture must be avoided.

    • Can veledo be combined with other kinds of flooring?

      Yes, using special transition strips, veledo can be easily combined with tretford carpets, for example.

    • Is tretford-veledo also suitable to use with underfloor heating?

      Yes, veledo can be installed above warm water underfloor heating systems. Heat transfer is only minimally restricted.

    • For which areas / rooms is veledo suitable?

      Veledo can be used in living areas (hallway, living- and bedrooms) as well as in shops, hotels etc.
