GUI-certification confirms that tretford effectively reduces fine dust in indoor air

tretford-Interland has been awarded certification by GUI mbH (limited corporation for the environment and indoor environment analysis)

Fine dust is an enormous problem - particularly for allergy sufferers. Inhaled dust or particulate matter can trigger an allergic reaction due to it mechanical effect. This can be all the more serious in bronchial systems that are already impaired.
The German allergy and asthma federation (DAAB e.V.) commissioned a much noted study on fine particulate matter in interior spaces at the GUI environmental institute of Mönchengladbach. The published results from the surveying of over 100 households demonstrated that the incidence of fine dust on smooth floors is - on average – 62.9 µg/m³, in other words, more than twice as high as found in carpeted rooms (30.4 µg/m³) - and also regularly higher than the boundary value for outdoor air (50 µg/m³ on up to 35 days per year).
GUI’s certification „Effectively reduces fine dust in the air“confirms that indoor air pollutants and allergens can be significantly better bonded by tretford carpets than by smooth-surfaced floors.
The product group INTERLAND including Plus7, Interland, Ever, ECO carpet tiles and Dolce Vita received certification. Its dust-binding capacity is noticeably greater than the required minimum value of 20%.
