Having roots that they cultivate has become a source of power that Duravit can draw on. For this reason, Duravit, as well as its partners and co-supporters of the preservation project "Naturpark Schwarzwald", is eager to put all its efforts in the service of protecting water, air and soil to the best of its ability.

This is mirrored both in its product development efforts and in its newly designed bathroom showrooms. In addition to wood, Duravit also explicitly chose tretford carpeting with Cashmere goat hair and veledo – a recycled genuine leather – for the showroom walls.

The Duravit Design Center at the company headquarters in Hornberg, Black Forest, was designed by the architect and designer Philippe Starck, who is responsible for many award-winning Duravit bathroom classics. The main building, an office building, also serves as Duravit AG’s communication and showroom center. A visit to the showroom during business hours is possible without an appointment.
